Hey Reader,

Did you already have your winter break? I'm in a district that did not have a break for teachers 😩 but students were able to have a long weekend...is it summer yet?

I have my pile of books that I like to read throughout each month and Pies from Nowhere: How Georgia Gilmore Sustained the Montgomery Bus Boycott is always at the top.

I just love a story that talks about real people doing small things to make a big change. Georgia Gilmore literally cooked food to help raise funds for gas and transportation during the Montgomery Bus Boycott.

Reading this book reminds me that we can do great things by doing what we love. We don't have to be a charismatic speaker or someone with a large following. Just be...you❤️️
